In a lousy effort to keep this account somewhat active, I'm gonna post these. Random sketches mostly (floating heads and such... I seem to have lost my ability to draw human bodies O_o). Also, I've been doodling logo ideas for our "unnamed green project/business thing". I wasn't intending to post any of these until I've had them finalized in photoshop, but then it might be better if I get some input first before I actually finalize them, if I get approval from my associates.

It's been 10 days since I last heard from the professor regarding my possible scholarship. 10 days. You know actually, if you think about it, that's not a very long time. But see, unlike other people... Waiting. Drives. Me. Insane. So much that I can't even seem to focus on the other stuff that I should be working on. My room for example. Gahd. I am so full of excuses, If I were my boss I'd fire me -_-.

A lot has been going on right now. Well, no, not really, but yeah, sort of. Anyway, the point is, I haven't gotten around to working on the ULPB because of these little things that I need to pay some attention to. That and all of a sudden I've been having all these new comic/story ideas that have absolutely nothing to do with the ULPB. Gah. Well whatever.

For convenience sake, let me just refer to this as the ULBP (haha, I just realized you can spell UPLB from it). At least, until I can think of a better name. Anyway, so yeah, after months of drawing, I think I've finally managed to make the main characters of the ULBP look pretty much consistent, and now I feel confident enough to actually lay them out in color.

So I've pretty much neglected this journal since I've reactivated my devart account, so, meh, thought I should at least post something. I've been doing a lot of old school drawing lately (you know... with an actual pencil and paper *le gasp*), and somehow it seems to have dulled my tablet handling skills. Funny thing though was whenever I would draw old school, for every mistake I make I instinctively think "ctrl+z". Seriously. God bless the inventor of the undo command. ANYway.

I think I might have been around uh, 13 or 14 when I last made any fanart of sorts haha (I mean fanart made available online). Anyway, since I've been on a mad hunt for Avatar season 2 episodes for the last few days, I've decided to join sime oekaki to help me kill time whenever I'm downloading. It's not the first oekaki I've joined, but it's actually the first I've posted "online art" to. Weird huh? Yeah I'm a professional lurker haha.

I've actually started on this thing the day before the storm hit, trying to make it to the deadline (which was the day of the storm itself haha) but failing, not that it mattered since nobody came to school anyway. Heheh. This thing's actually supposed to be a contest of sorts, and the winner gets his/her shirt for free. I just realized that even if this was good enough to win, the batch might not opt for it since it has too many colors and would cost more. :p

Okay, I don't consider this really good, but yeah, I was just so bored and I just felt like I needed to do something. Well actually, I've been dying to get back on my Yani piece ever since I got home, but since my tablet is in LB and the monitor here at home is all screwed, I can't really work on it, even though I brought the file with me. Anyway, whatever. Consider this practice. Quick pen sketch made spiffy-er in Photoshop.

I bought four books yesterday, and the last one I got was Nail Gaiman's Coraline. Anyway, I was in the mood so I doodled something off the book. Go and read so you'd know which part. Geh. I think my scanner screwed with the contrast though. :/

Bored in Eng10. Open door. 'Nuff said.
Still bored in Eng10. Also bored in Eng1, and in Bio101. This one actually took me a lot longer to finish as I worked on this bit by bit whenever class becomes too boring. (Hm. I think I actually started this one 2nd semester of 2nd year. O_o;) This was a remake of the illustration I made for a friend of mine.
These were for a school project. We made this booklet thing for mcb101 lab (Microbiology 101 for Dummies), and these came out in the "Dos and Don'ts in the Laboratory" section. Didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped, namely because I crammed it, didn't work on the project until the night before deadline. -_-;; (and I was even able to make it to class on time because of this. I came in at 2pm when the class started at 1. O_o;;) And oh yeah, these are supposed to be me and my groupmates.

Oh yeah, still from the same project, this one's a sketch of our lab instructor. We also had this help corner thing in the booklet. Y'know, the whole "Dear Miss M..." kinda thing.
 
UPLB Main library, first floor. I was supposed to be studying for an exam, but yeah, I got bored. :p Some anatomy issues here, but, meh, it's like a 5-10 minute sketch.
